Overview
PolicyLib by Harbor Home Healthcare provides compliance-management software for participating home care agencies. This policy explains the information used to operate the website and application.
Google sign-in
When you choose Google sign-in, PolicyLib receives your verified email address, Google account identifier, name, and profile image. This information is used only to create, link, and secure your PolicyLib account. PolicyLib does not receive your Google password.
Agency information
Authorized agency users may enter client, employee, form, policy, quality-improvement, and audit information. Each application request is scoped to an organization and evaluated against the signed-in user’s agency role.
Optional AI drafting
When an administrator enables the AI assistants, text deliberately submitted in the AI workbench is sent through the site’s server to the configured OpenAI API account. The assistant does not automatically read client, employee, DMAS, policy, or QI records. Users are instructed not to submit identifying information. Requests set response storage to false, but agencies must review the provider’s current data controls and obtain any agreements required for their use.
Billing
Stripe processes subscription payments. PolicyLib sends Stripe agency billing metadata, the selected plan, and the billing user’s email. Client healthcare records are not sent to Stripe.
Security and retention
PolicyLib uses access controls, audit history, HTTPS-compatible authentication, and WordPress security protections. Participating agencies remain responsible for their workforce access, retention policies, backups, hosting configuration, and legal obligations.
